Onsite Large Mass Calibration
In order to assist our partners in the steel industry, we have expanded our scope once again. As you may or may not know, many automotive manufacturers are now requiring their steel suppliers to provide accredited calibration certificates for each of their scales. Due to their limited access and heavy-duty weight requirements, accreditation has been a slow challenging process until now. Premier Scales & Systems can now provide onsite accredited calibration for large customer-supplied masses, such as steel coils, from 5,000 to 150,000lbs. Once calibrated and certified, our team can use this test coil to perform accredited calibrations* on your scales. This new capacity allows us to quickly and efficiently calibrate our customer’s scales with limited disruption to their process.
*Other considerations such as larger uncertainties and standards out of our control are considered in the testing procedure/requirements and contract review process.
