Onsite Large Mass Calibration
Many automotive manufacturers are now requiring their steel suppliers to provide accredited calibration certificates for each of their scales. Due to their limited access and heavy-duty weight requirements, accreditation has been a slow challenging process until now. Premier Scales & Systems can now provide onsite accredited calibration for large customer-supplied masses, such as steel coils, from 5,000 to 15,000lbs. Once calibrated and certified, our team can use this test coil to perform accredited calibrations* on your scales. This new capacity allows us to quickly and efficiently calibrate our customer’s scales with limited disruption to their process.
*Other considerations such as larger uncertainties and standards out of our control are considered in the testing procedure/requirements and contract review process.
