The Account Manager is an outside sales position responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships. This position works closely with the Sales Engineer, Inside Sales Representative, and service team to promote our scale and metrology services. As the primary point of contact, a successful Account Manager must be a driven, self-motivated individual who can balance multiple customer needs simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Main Point of Contact for Customers in Assigned Territory; Complete Account Maintenance responsibilities.
  • Annual Contract review with all Customers.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact via phone, email, and regular customer site visits.
  • Provide solutions for all customer issues, requests and concerns by involving other departments as needed. This includes quality, safety, administration, metrology lab, product sales, etc.
  • Increase revenue from existing customers through recommendations for new products and services.
  • Increase customer base through regular prospecting, cold-calling, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate with sales team to ensure efficiency in the sales process from initial customer interest, through quoting, negotiation, closing, processing order, and customer follow up.
  • Utilize available tools to market products, services and solutions offered by Premier Scales & Systems.
  • Become the “Trusted Advisor” on products and services we offer.
  • Attend provided training such as meetings, presentations, and online programs.
  • Seek and utilize additional resources whenever possible.
  • Research and learn our customer’s businesses and industries.

Education/Experience

  • Solid Sales and Account Management Experience
  • CRM Experience
  • Strong Computer Experience including proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • College Degree preferred
