The Great Pumpkin & Watermelon Weigh-In of 2024

(Louisville, KY) We once again had the honor of providing scale and calibration services for the Kentucky State Fair’s annual Largest Pumpkin and Watermelon contest. The 2024 event showcased an impressive array of pumpkins and watermelons grown by the local and skilled farmers. The standout this year was once again, Dwight Slone, often dubbed the Johnny Appleseed of Pumpkins, who brought in a gargantuan 1,133.1lb monster of a pumpkin.
